How HCSS Software assisted with this project
HeavyBid provided the ability to generate accurate bids quickly. This allows us to generate the volume of bids needed to be successful in today’s competitive market. The fact that labor, equipment, crews, and activities are maintained in a database helps ensure that our bids remain consistent.
Recent commercial office, manufacturing facility, and residential growth required the City of Chandler, Arizona, to expand its water and sanitary sewer infrastructure leading to the initiation of this 20 MGD Ocotillo Water Reclamation Facility (OWRF) Lift Station, six miles of 42-inch Wastewater Force Main (OWRF to the City’s Airport Water Reclamation Facility AWRF), and five miles of 24-inch Water Transmission Main (McQueen Road to Dobson Road). The city chose Achen-Gardner Construction, LLCthrough a qualifications-based selection process, to provide Construction Manager at Risk and general contracting services for this critical project.
